DAV College wins First position in Inter College Malkhamb Tournament

Amritsar, February 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV College won first position in Inter College Malkhamb Tournament organized by Guru Nanak Dev University on 28 January, 2017. College students showed an extra ordinary performance during the competition. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students and Dr B.B Yadav, Head Department of Sports and Physical Education. He also applauded winners Vikas Verma, Rohit, Rahul Verma, Anil Kumar, and Sanjay Kumar for their enthusiastic performance during the tournament. While giving information about the competition, Dr. BB Yadav said that College won first position leaving behind all its competitors from four different colleges who took part in this tournament like DAV Jalandhar, LKC Jalandhar, Khalsa College Amritsar and DAV College Amritsar. He also told that Vikas Verma was declared best Malkhamb Player among other students during the Competition. Prof Sandeep Kumar and Prof Davinder Singh also congratulated the winners on their success.
