Bbk Dav College Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia Honoured by Sabhyacharak Sath

Amritsar, February 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Butola Sabhyacharak Sath of Majha region organized a cultural festival in which Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia was the Chief Guest. Bhupinder Singh Sandhu, Secretary, Punjab Sahitya Academy and President, World Punjabi Heritage Foundation and Dr. Rani, Senior Secretary, World Punjabi Heritage Foundation presented Dr. Walia with trophy and Phulkari for her contribution towords the promotion of Punjabi language and culture in Majha region. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandhu said that Dr. Walia has always been a forerunner in fostering Punjabi language in the region. He further added that Dr. Walia has always emphasized the importance of Punjabi culture and heritage.

Principal Dr. Walia thanked President Dr. Sandhu for honouring her. She dedicated this honour to the entire BBK family. She said that BBK DAV College for Women has always taken initiative in the promotion of Punjabi language and culture and will continue to do the same in future as well.
