Amritsar, April 27 (Punjab Post –Gurpreet Singh Saggu) – An art exhibition of the paintings of two senior artists was held at KT:Kalã Kendra. Jagdeep Singh Garcha Head of Fine Arts Department (Retd). Punjabi University Patiala displayed his 14 paintings while Satwant Singh Sumail freelance artist displayed his 11 paintings in this exhibition. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, President Indian Academy of Fine Arts inaugurated the exhibition. In his remarks he highly appreciated the work done by KAUSA Trust in the field of art. The works of the artists were also ranked very high by the visitors.
Artist Jagdeep Garcha has tried to find the formless form the forms that he constructs. While artist Satwant Singh Sumail painted female figures with nature on canvas in such a way that these forms thyself enter into the paintings.
Rajesh Raina Secretary and Dr. Baldev Gambhir welcomed the Chief guest. Brajesh Jolly highlighted the work done by KAUSA Trust in the past. Artists Shri Jagdeep Garcha and Shri Satwant Sumail extended their warm wishes and paid thanks to KAUSA Trust for inviting and hosting this exhibition. The personalities present on this occasion includes Dr. P.S.Grover, Arvinder Chamak, Narinder Singh sculptor, Mala Chawla, Kulwant Gill, Saroj Sharma, Bela Aggarwal, Teena Sharma, Gursharan Kaur, Priyanka Sharma, Aakarshi Sawhni, Sukhpal Singh, Kawal Kumar Sehgal and many more.
