DAV Public School Celebrated Mother’s Day

Amritsar, May 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road conducted a special assembly honouring the motherhood and influence of mothers in society. They celebrated it with great enthusiasm, sharing their feelings on importance of mother in their lives. They sang songs, recited poems and enacted a role play depicting that high technology has brought a huge revolution in the society, but mother’s love can’t be replaced. She is a guiding force and should be given respect. A card making competition was also held in this occasion.

                                Regional Director  Punjab Zone – A Dr. Neelam  Kamra  and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sent  their best wishes and advised them to respect their elders as they play a great role  in their lives. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school, addressed the students and urged that mother has a very special place. She is a selfless creature who nurtures her children and showers unconditional love on them, so she should be given a great regard.
