GNDU to organize selection trails and arrangements for World University Games-2017

Amritsar, June 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Association of Indian Universities New Delhi has given the responsibility to Guru Nanak Dev University to organize the selection trails, coaching camp and other necessary arrangements of Fencing (M & W) and Judo (M&W) teams with regard to participation of Indian Fencing (M&W) and Judo (M&W) teams in World University Games-2017 being Organized from August 19-30, 2017 at Taiei, (Chinese Taipei).

Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Director of Sports Department said that the selection trails of fencing (M & W) teams will be conducted on 9-10 June, 2017 at University Campus at 9.30 am.  The selecton trails of Judo (MW) teams will be conducted on June-15-16 at University Campus. The body weight will be done on June 15 at 5 pm to 6 pm Unofficial and 6 pm to 7 pm official. The trails will start on June 16 at 9.30 am.
