Amritsar, June 12 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Indian Academy of Fine Arts is celebrating 6th Summer Art Camp/Festival from 4th June 2017. In
which many exhibitions, workshops have been organised & will continue. In the series of exhibitions Ms. Chandni Batra based in Delhi/ Mumbai is showcasing works of her visual journey by creative photography.
Inaugurating the exhibition Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina President Indian Academy of Fine Arts & Convener Dr. AS Chamak applauded the work of the Artists. Over the past 8 years, a journey beyond limiting beliefs of Indian Society and Creative Visuals, Chandni has been travelling globally across boundaries to explore the deeper life’s meanings and realms that were and still are the unseen, unheard and of course, visually and unframed.
Her creative inspiration has always burnt as a huge flame within, which today, has gone beyond imagination and limiting borders. Being a typical North-Indian woman, it has not been always an easy cakewalk for her when it came to creating her niche in the Indian creative media industry that too, without any godfather(s)/godmother(s).
She also foresees with it to further hold educative basic photography workshops in the coming months, though, not to engage in building a trending business but, of course, teach young Artists including (women enthusiasts) to go beyond their self-limiting creativity, value this expressive art of photography as blessing of Universe and learn to understand and express themselves better with a liberal-mind exploring different unknown avenues of life.
Another achievement was during her opening inning of the career phase; that was assisting with Mr. Rakesh Shrestha, Bombay (one of India’s famous glamour /fashion Photographers); also, working with the film fraternity like Vidya Balan (actress), Gul Panag (actress), Lalit Pandit (Jatin-Lalit Music directors duo), Sayali Bhagat (Miss India World 2004), which relatively adds up to her credits bag.
In Chandni’s photo- exhibits and photo- workshops, she brings forth all her unexplored incredible visual journey’s perspective with an aim to understand and learn that we could extract from life itself. From the captured innocence of a child, cultural fusion of simplest rural and modern city life, to an innumerable wrinkles… We kindly invite you to visit and express your emotions that only the still images could deeply connect.
