BBK DAV College For Women Commences New Academic Session with Havan Yajna

Amritsar, July 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Arya Yuvti Sabha, BBK DAV College for Women organized Havan Yajna to seek the blessings of the Almighty for the new academic session 2017-18.

In her address Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia elucidated the importance of Gayatri Mantra for guiding the intellect towards the righteous path. She added that Havan always reminds us of the vedic heritage and our roots. She further said that Arya Samaj is not a religion; rather it is a way of life, thought and practice. She also highlighted the remarkable contribution of Swami Dayanand and Mahatma Hansraj towards enlightening the society through education. She further congratulated the students who bagged top positions in May 2017 examination of GNDU.

Dr. V.P Lakhanpal & Advocate Mr. Vipin Bhasin, Members of Local Managing Committee along with members of Arya Samaj namely Mr. Inderpal Arya, Mr. Rakesh Mehra, Mr. Ravi Mohan, Mr. Inderjeet Thukral, Mr. Sandeep Ahuja also attended the Hawan Yajna, and appreciated the hard work of the faculty and students. All the members of the teaching & non-teaching staff participated enthusiastically in the Hawan Yajya.
