Hiking Tracking camp by GNDU

Amritsar, July 26 (Punjab post Bureau) – The Guru Nanak Dev University has organized a Hiking Tracking Camp at gndu1the Students Holiday Home, Dalhousie. As many as 105 students from 11 affiliated colleges participated in this camp. This camp was hosted by the Department of Youth Welfare of the University.

Mr. Paramjit Singh, Owner, Dalhousie Gas Agency presided over the valedictory function and Smt. Harmeet Kaur was guest of honor. Madam Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami and Principal Dr. Surjit Singh Sidhu were the resource persons on this occasion. Dr. Jagjit Kaur welcomed the guests and gave the details about the activities during the camp.

Raj Kumar of SSMC, Dinanagar was adjudged the Best Camper while Sabdil Singh of APJ College of  Fine Arts, Jalandhar stood second best Camper and Bikramjit Singh from GNDUC Verka; Mandeep Singh of GNCUC, Jalandhar and Harkamalpreet Singh of SGADC, Khadoor Sahib were remained third collectvelly. The team of GNKC, Daroli Kalan was adjudged as first best disciplined teams while team of SPSKKC, Begowal was second best disciplined team and LKC, Jalandhar and SGADC, Khadoor Sahib were remained third.

During the camp, students visited Panchpula, Kala Top, Dyan Kund, Khajjiar & Dalhousie and participated in the events of extempore, debate, folk song, poetry recitation and dance. Chief Guest and others guests also gave away the prizes to the winners of these events.
