GNDU Professor Dr.Jaspal Singh joins as Principal of Khalsa College of Law

Amritsar,  July 10 (Dharimnder Rataul)- Dr.Jaspal Singh, a retired Professor from Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) today joined as Principal of Khalsa College of Law (KCL). The senior management of Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) was present when he took charge of the office and said dissemination of legal knowledge, academic environment and overall development of the college into institution of academic excellence would be his priority.

The new College, which was established in 2012 to provide law education in holy city and its surrounding areas, provides five year and three year LLB degrees. KCGC honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina said Dr.Jaspal has vast experience of teaching and college will progress further under his leadership. Dr.Jaspal thanked management for giving him opportunity and said he would work tirelessly to take the college to the new height. Others present during the occasion included KCGC additional honourary secretary Swinder Singh Kathunangal, finance secretary Gunbir Singh, former vice chancellor Rajive Gandhi National Law University, Patiala, Dr.Gurjit Singh, head department of law, GNDU Dr.Rattan Singh, KCGC joint secretary SS Abdal, member SS Chhina, Principal Jagdish Singh, Gurmohinder Singh, Dr. Vinay Kapoor, Dr.Kewal Krishan, Dr. Ratanjit Kaur and DS Rataul were present.
