DAV student Outshined in University Exams

Amritsar, August 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College bagged the top positions in the university examinations held in May 2017. In the recent results declared by the University of Class MSc (Maths) Semester-II, Simranjeet made the college proud by bagging the second position and Navpreet secured eight position in the university exams. Whereas In MSc (Maths) Semester-IV, Chahat Maheshwari made the college proud by bagging the first position and Harpreet Kaur secured second position in the College and District.

            Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Prof RK Jha, Head Department of Mathematics also congratulated the students for their excellent academic performance and added that the department has always excelled in university examinations each year. Prof Madan Mohan, Prof Meenu Aggarwal, Prof Ashu Vij, Prof Vikram Sharma, Prof Amit Mahajan, Prof Shivani, Prof Sumanpreet, Prof Kapil and Prof. Chahat also extended their heartiest congratulations to the students.
