Guru Nanak Dev University releases Youth Festivals Schedule

Amritsar, Sept. 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Guru Nanak Dev University has released the schedule of Youth festivals to be organized at University campus by the Department of Youth Welfare of the University from September 18 to November 3, 2016.

            Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director said that Zonal Youth Festival D-Zone (for colleges of Kapurthala and Nawan Shahr District) would be held from September 18 to 21. Zonal-Youth Festival of Govt./ Constituent Colleges and Associate Institutes would be held from September 25 to 28 while Zonal-Youth Festival of Educational Colleges would be organized from October 03 to 05.

She said that Zonal Youth Festival B-Zone (for colleges of Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran Disticts) would be held from October 9 to 12 and A-Zone (for college of Amritsar district) Youth Fest would be held from October 14 to 17. Zonal Youth Festival C-Zone (for colleges of Jalandhar of district) would be held from October 23 to 26. She added that Inter-Zonal Final Youth Festival would be held from October 31 to November 03.  In these festivals, participants will compete for 34 items of Music, Theatre, Dance, Literary and Fine Arts.
