Lecture on ‘Career in Research’ organized at DAV College

Amritsar, Nov. 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – PG Department of Mathematics, DAV College Amritsar organized a guest lecture on “Career in Research” in the college.  Dr K.L Tejpal IIT Chicago USA was the key Speaker during the event. Students from Graduation and Post graduation classes of Mathematics department attended the lecture. Local Managing Committee Member S.K Sehgal was also present during the seminar.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated Prof R.K Jha, Head department of Mathematics and other staff members of the department for organizing such scholarly lectures for intellectual growth of students and for promotion of the subject. He also added that such lectures help in clearing concepts and getting deeper knowledge about the subject.

While speaking on the occasion Dr. K. L Tejpal motivated students for pursuing research. He also guided the students about writing research papers and made them aware of various research opportunities .He also emphasized on the importance of research and career opportunities in India and Abroad. Prof. Madan Mohan, Prof. Meenu Aggarwal, Prof. Ashu Vij, Prof. Vikram Sharma, , Prof. Chahat, Prof Kapil, Prof. Heena, Prof. Sheetal, Prof. Kashish attended the lecture.
