BBA DAV College for Women lifts Gndu Inter College Pistol Shooting Championship

Amritsar, Nov. 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Pistol Shooting team of BBK DAV College for Women won the GNDU Inter-College  Pistol Shooting Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University. College team gave a splendid show by defeating HMV College Jalandhar, Khalsa College, Amritsar, LKC College Jalandhar and GNDU Campus Amritsar. Members of the winning team are Ramandeep Kaur, Sonam Malik, Diksha Sheoran and Shikha Arya. Two players of the college Ramandeep Kaur and Sonam Malik have been selected for All India Intervarsity Championship going to be held at GNDU Campus from 10^th to 14^th Nov. 2017.Sudershan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Managing Committee and Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. Dr. Walia added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV College for Women is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head Department of Physical Education along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
