excellent education is scaling new heights by organizing recruitment drives one after the other in its campus to give a fast track career to its students.Recently CKD instituteorganized a successful campus placement drive by TOMMY HILFIGER, an American multinational corporation that designs and manufactures upper market apparel for men, women and children, and a wide range of licensed products such as footwear, accessories, fragrances and home furnishings.Tommy Hilfiger has built an extensive distribution network in over 100 countries and more than 1,800 retail stores throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific Region. Global retail sales of the Tommy Hilfiger brand were US $6.6 billion in 2016.Twosenior executives visited the college in this connection.
The students from Bsc. (ATHM), B.Com, BBA, BCA and MBA participated in this placement drive. Selection process started with pre-placement talk through the power point presentation about the company facilities that they provide to their employees.This was followed by group discussion in which 15 students were shortlisted. Thereafter personal interview round was conducted in which 3 students were finally got opportunity to work with the top notch company including 2 students from MBA namely Navkiran K Gill , PalakKalra and Malti Mehra from Bsc. ATHM. The selected students were offered attractive package of Rs. 3.50 LPA plus lucrative incentives. President Charanjit Singh Chadha emphasized that such recruitment drives propel the career of students in the respective industries. These types of drives help students to showcase their skills and help them to bring out their capabilities, he added. Dr. S.K Mahal and Mr. N.S Sahni, Member Incharge and Dr. Gurpartap Singh, Principal of CKDIMT appreciated the efforts of Mr. Jagdeep Singh Pannu, Head Placements for conducting such type of placement activities.
