BBK DAV College wins Runners-up Position in Gndu Football Inter-College Championship

Amritsar, Dec. 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Football team of BBK DAV College for Women has won the runners-up position in the GNDU Football Inter-College Championship held at GNDU Campus, Amritsar. College gave a splendid show by defeating GNDU Campus, Amritsar and S.R. College, Amritsar.

Team members are Ms. Lovepreet Kaur, Suman Rani, Anju, Anjali Syal, Baljit Kaur, Jasbir Kaur, Geeta Rani, Jaspreet Kaur, Supreet Kaur, Sandeep Kaur, Sandeep Kaur, Pardeeep Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Sukhjit Kaur, Jasmeet Kaur, Sabjit Kaur, Lovepreet Kaur, Poonam Rani and Amardeep. Ten players of the college Lovepreet Kaur, Suman Rani, Anju, Anjali Syal, Baljit Kaur, Jasbir Kaur, Geeta Rani, Jaspreet Kaur, Supreet Kaur and Sandeep Kaur have been selected for All India Inter-University Camp.

Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV College for Women is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
