Annual Art & Craft Exhibition held at DAV Public School

Amritsar, Dec. 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With the blessings of Arya Rattan, Dr.Punam Suri ji , President DAV CMC New Delhi and under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. Neera Sharma DAV Public School, Lawrence Road held its annual  Art & Craft Exhibition , ‘Creative Capers’ 2017 in  its  premises. The students of classes IV to XII put up a grand display of their innovative talents. Their year long efforts were definitely worth the visit.

The Exibition was inaugurated by the Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. Neelam Kamra and Mrs. Madhumita Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh. They observed each and every exhibit, interacted with the students and appreciated the efforts put in by them. They blessed the students and said that such events bloom the creativity and give wings to the imagination of the budding artists.

The Children showcased their art and skill through craft items, needle work, paintings, projects, models and working models. The exhibits included articles made best out of waste. Some of them were paper baskets, jewellery boxes, flowers, frames, dolls, pencil holders etc. The students gave vent to their imagination by making different working models like Water Cycle, Conversion of Solar Energy into Electrical Energy, Rotation of Earth, and Industrial Revolution etc. The beautiful paintings and art work left the spectators mesmerized.  The complete arena was buzzing with enormous turn out of the parents and children. Other dignitaries present were Mr. Surdarshan Kapoor, Mr. Surinder Mehra Principals of various DAV Institution and LMC Members. The Art and Craft Exhibition attracted appreciations from everyone and Raffle Draw gave it a grand close. Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. Neelam Kamra  and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar applauded  and congratulated the staff and students for the  success of the event and blessed them for their future  endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school thanked everyone and remarked such exhibitions offer opportunities and provide platform to the students to display their creative and artistic talents.
