Chemistry Department of GNDU receives another grant of Rs. 2.95 Crore

Amritsar, Jan. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Department of Chemistry of Guru Nanak Dev University has received a grant of Rupees Two Crore and Ninety Five Lakh under the FIST Programme of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. This grant will be used for purchasing new equipment, strengthening networking, infrastructure and maintenance over a period of five years.   Earlier, Department has also received an amount of 3 crore from University Grants Commission under CAS stage two programme. Recently Guru Nanak Dev University has also received a good amount of various funding agencies for strengthening research and infrastructure. The researchers, students and faculty of the University would be benefited at large with these grants.
