BBK DAV College Women Organizes Havan Yajna to Mark the Beginning of New Semester

Amritsar, Jan 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Arya Yuvti Sabha of BBK DAV College for Women organized Havan Yajna to mark the beginning of the new semester and to seek the blessings of the Almighty.

Addressing the staff and the students of the college Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia emphasized the significance of Havan Yajna and said that performing Havan purifies not only air but also our thoughts and spirit. She thanked the Almighty for His Utmost Grace and inspired teachers and students to give their best in the new session.

Principal Dr. Walia threw light on International and National level achievements of the college players. During the programme, students of Department of Music held the audience spellbound with their devotional bhajans. Sudershan Kapoor Chairman Local Managing Committee Dr. V. P Lakhanpal, Member, LMC, Principals of various DAV Institutions Mrs. Neera Sharma, Mr. Paramjit, Mrs. Simmi Luthra, Mrs. Lakhwinder Kaur alongwith Mrs. Balbir Kaur Bedi & Members of Arya Samaj Hira Lal Kandhari and Rakesh Mehra, as well as with students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, participated in Havan with great zeal and enthusiasm.
