World Wetland Day celebrated at DAV College

Amritsar, Feb. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The department of Zoology, DAV College organized Declamation contest and Poster presentation on the occasion of celebration of World Wetland Day-2018 for the science students. The main aim behind celebrating the day was to spread awareness on the importance of wetlands and their benefits. In this competition, students participated enthusiastically.  Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated Dr. Rajni Khanna, Head department of Zoology for organizing such competitions which helps students to explore their hidden talents. He also motivated the science students to participate in such competitions and to understand importance of wetlands.  On this occasion prizes were awarded to the winners. Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Prof.  Renu Chauhan and Prof. Nihita Sharma were also present on the occasion.
