DAV Public School observes Arya Samaj Sthapna Diwas

Amritsar, Mar. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The celebration of the Foundation Day of Arya Samaj began with the holy havan at the yagyashala of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road here today. On this occasion, the whole staff of the school assembled at the yagyashala to invoke the blessings of Almighty for a prosperous beginning and to propagate the message of the founder of Arya Samaj, Swami Dayanand Saraswati and disseminate the tenets of Arya Samaj among people. Holy mantras were chanted and the importance and need to establish Arya Samaj was discussed along with its propagation in the present times. Regional Director, Punjab Zone –A, Dr (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College Amritsar sent their best wishes to the teachers and students on this occasion. They asked everyone to imbibe the principles of Arya Samaj in their true spirit for a peaceful living. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school said that Swami Dayanand Saraswati believed in karma. His main motive was that people should be judged by their actions, not the caste they were born in. She suggested that for peaceful living contentment is very important and to achieve this, one must lead a selfless life.
