Tribute paid to Martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh in St. Soldier Elite Convent School

Jandiala Guru, Mar. 23  (Punjab Post- Harinder Pal Singh) – Special assembly was conducted by St. Soldier Elite Convent School  to pay a tribute to Martyr Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivam Rajguru o Shaheed Diwas. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri M.D addressing the students said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his two companions fought for the freedom of India from the colonial rulers and sacrificed their lives. They were hanged to death by British on March 23, 1931. He said that students should follow the path of freedom fighters. Management, teachers and students take oath on this day that they will follow their footsteps. At this moment Principal Amarpreet Kaur, Co-rdinators Vriti Dhugga, Shilpa Sharma, Narinderpal Kaur, Navtej Singh, Harsimran Singh, Santokh Singh, Navleen Kaur, Amandeep Kaur and other staff members were present there and give tribute to Bhagat Singh.
