DAV College Amritsar organized commonly Mis – spelt word contest

Amritsar, Mar. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Department of English, DAV College Amritsar organized Mis –spelt contest for the students at Arsh auditorium on March 23, 2018. Approximately 162 students from various streams participated in this contest.  Prof Amita Sharma, Bursar of the college was the convener during the event. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated Prof Sunil Sachdeva, Head department of English for such initiatives and said that such activities help students in polishing their intellectual skills. Prof Sunil Sachdeva, while speaking said that 50 mis-spelt words were given to the participants and each had to write the correct spellings in thirty minutes. He also added that prizes were also given to students for their achievement in pervious activities organized by department. During the activity, Prof Loveleen kaur, Prof Nivedita Sharma, Dr Samriti Aggarwal, Dr Kiran Kashyap, Prof Meneka Kalia, Prof Navjot Kaur, Prof Manpreet Kaur, Prof Aanchal, Prof Puneet Randhawa and Prof Gurjant Randhawa were also present.
