Prize Distribution ceremony organized by Red Ribbon Club

Amritsar, Apr. 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College were awarded for their extra ordinary performance during various events organized by the Red Ribbon Club during the session 2017-18. In the Essay Writing competition on the theme “Blood Donation”, students bagged various positions. Mudit Manchanda of BSc (Med) bagged First position, Harjeet Kaur of BSc (IT) bagged second position and Komal of BSc (Eco) and Joyous Celly of BA bagged third position. In Poster Making Competition on the theme “AIDS Awareness”, students bagged various positions. Puneet Kaur of BSc (Med.) bagged First position,  Muskan Sharma of BSc (Med.)  bagged second position and  Sheetal of BSc (Biotech ) and Divya Dhall of BDMM bagged third position. In the Declamation Contest on the theme “Blood Donation”, students bagged various positions.  Sheetal of  BSc (Biotech) bagged First position,  Yashita  Pathak of BSc( Eco) and Kriti Thakur of MSc (Maths)  bagged Second position and  Gaurav of BSc (CS) bagged third position. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated all the prize winners and wished them luck for their success. He also congratulated members of Red Ribbon Club for their efforts and for continuously organizing such intellectual activities for students. All these events were organized under guidance of Associate Prof. Harsimran Singh Anand (Nodal Officer), Associate Prof. Kapil Goyal, Assistant Prof. Renu Sharma.
