International Cyclist Kezia Verghese of BBK DAV honoured

Amritsar, Apr. 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – International Cyclist, Kezia Verghese of BBK DAV College for Women was honoured at a glittering ceremony organized by DAV CMC New Delhi at Parade Ground Sec-5 Panchkula. She was awarded a Gold Medal and Certificate of Appreciation by the President of DAV CMC Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Punam Suri on 21st April. She was bestowed with this honour at Mahatma Hans Raj Birth Anniversary Function. Ms Kezia received this appreciation as an acknowledgement of her outstanding achievements as a cyclist viz for winning Gold Medal in Track Cycling (Team Sprint Event) in Asia Cup held at New Delhi. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia along with Ms. Sweety Bala Head Physical Education Department & Sports teacher, Ms. Savita Kumari congratulated the gold medalist for her commendable feat & motivated her to maintain her supremacy in future also.
