Punjab all set to organize first of its kind ‘International Job Fair in Mohalli on July 30

International companies from eight countries will provide jobs to Punjabi Youth

Amritsar, July 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Punjab government is all geared up for organizing first of its kind International Job Fair in the country. The Punjab government is organizing this event in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, National Skills Development Corporation and Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council.

Deputy Director Employment Mrs. Sunita Kalyan disclosing details about this event said that this is another step forward in providing jobs to the Punjabi Youth under ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission, the flagship scheme of the state government.She said that the Punjab Government has provided more than 1.50 lakh jobs to the youth in the last two State level Job Fairs. He also said that in the International Job Fair more than 6000 job opportunities would be offered to the Youth.

            Deputy Director said that representatives of UK, Ireland, Dubai, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Oatar, Bahrain and some more countries would be participating in the International Job Fair.She said that 40 counters would be set up for interview of job aspirants in the different sectors such as nursing, hospitality, plumbing, welding, administration, house- keeping, beauty wellness and many more.

 She further said that interested candidates can register online www.ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in. Hon’ble Chief Minister Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh would himself give Letter of Intents to few selected candidates. The department has also provided helpline numbers 7986999981/2/3/4/5.

             She said that employers from abroad would conduct interview for jobs in Nursing, Hospitality, Plumbing, Welding, Administration, Housekeeping, Beauty & Wellness etc and some related sectors.

 Mrs. Kalyan said sthat the eligible youth would have to undergo two rounds of interview; those who clear first round of interview would be eligible to sit in the second round. It’s mandatory for the job aspirants to fulfil the basic minimum qualifications to appear for interview.
