
Amritsar, Aug. 20 (Manjit Kaur) – CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) organized a seminar on Mr. Shishir, Managing Director of T.Tech Company, Dubai gave seminar on personal growth to the students of MBA, BBA, BCA, B.COM and B.Sc (ATHM). Mr. Shishir told that how one’s personal growth has an enormous impact on one’s relationships in workplace and important to understand ourselves. Personal development plan serves the purpose of clarifying our goals, and the reasons behind them. In a very real sense, it will serve as their compass to help them inch towards those goals.
Mr Shishir further said, “Self Growth is an inner process aiming for better and happier life. It is a process of inner change, adopting a positive mind set, get rid of negative habits and building new positive ones. The quality of life depends to a large extent on the quality of our emotional and mental life. If we are not afraid of, we can change the thinking pattern of life and it will soon change accordingly. Habitual thoughts and the content of subconscious mind determine the behavior and the way we act and react”.

Earlier Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Principal welcomed the guest speaker and said that these self improvement seminars are opportunity for us to discover our true brilliance, learn how to live in the moment and undo the knee-jerk behavior that get in the way of living our life with ease. Paramjit Singh Makkar (Head Placements) said that if we keep thinking and visualizing a different and better kind of life, soon these thoughts will sink into our subconscious mind and would motivate, inspire and energize us to take action in this direction.
