BBK DAV College organized DBT Sponsored Guest Lecture by Dr. Atul Khanna

Amritsar, Aug. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The Department of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women organized a DBT sponsored Guest Lecturer by Dr. Atul Khanna on the topic of “Challenging Career Opportunities for Science Graduates in India” Dr. Atul Khanna is a Professor in the department of Physics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Dr. Khanna briefly discussed the basic topics of Physics such as Cosmology, Quantum Mechanics, Particle Physics and Fundamentals of Large Hadron Collider. He made the students aware of the different research Institutes under DAE & CSIR where they can pursue their Ph.D programmes after Post Graduation. Dr. Shaweta Mohan, HOD Physics, thanked Dr. Khanna for encouraging and guiding the students.

At this event Dr. Khanna distributed the certificates and prize to the participants and winners of DBT sponsored Power Point Presentation Competition organized by Department of Physics. Vice Principal, Mrs. Manbir Kaushal, Mrs. Manju Duggal, Mrs. Rashmi Kalia, Dr. (Mrs.) Poonam Khullar, Dr. (Mrs.) Monica Bhardwaj graced the occasion with their presence. Faculty members of Physics Department Mrs. Priyanka, Ms. Jaspreet, Miss Upma, Ms. Ankita and Ms. Daljeet  were also present in the event.
