Amandeep Medicity celebrated Foundation Week

Amritsar, Feb. 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Amandeep Medicity, A super-Specialty Hospital of Amandeep Group of Hospitals, Amritsar celebrated its Foundation Day in the form of a week-long celebrations.  The Celebrations started by a “Nutritious and Health Food Mela” in which more than 30 Dieticians participated to display 60 nutritious dishes, Hand Hygiene session for patient’s attendants wasorganized on 2^nd day, Poster Making Competition was held on the third day, on fourth day A complete First Aid Session for Traffic Police Officers was organized, On 5^th Day Paper Reading Competition was held and Physiotherapy Sessions for Senior Citizens were organized on 6^th Day.

The week Concluded with a cultural programme followed by a Grand Awareness Walkathon. The theme of the walkathon was Health, Peace and Humanity, which was very much Coinciding with the name of Hospital i.e. Amandeep Medicity.

Dr. Avtar Singh (Chief Orthopedic Surgeon), Dr. Amandeep Kaur (CEO), Dr. Shahbaz Singh (GM) Amandeep Group of Hospitals, Dr. Anupreet Kaur (Director) Amandeep College of Nursing and Dr. Kanwarjeet Singh (Medical Director) honored Major Kavita (Administrative Officer,1^st Punjab Girls Battalion, NCC), Dr. O.P. Singhania (Chairman Shree Marwadi Vidyalaya) and Chowki Incharge, Novelty Chowk Police Chowki for their valuable support in these week-long programs.

The Walkathon started from Amandeep Medicity near Novelty Chowk crossed Income Tax Office Chowk passed through Rani Ka Bag Park and Mata Lal Devi Mandir Road and reached its final destination Amandeep Hospital G.T Road, Amritsar. NCC Cadets of Air Wing and Army, Students of Amandeep College of Nursing School Band of Shree Marwadi Vidhyalaya, doctors and Hospital Staff of Amandeep Medicity and Amandeep Hospital etc. more than 400 people participated in this Awareness Walkathon. Team Amandeep Medicity thanked all the participants of walkathon.
