“Practical Implications of Programming Languages in IT” talk at DAV College

Amritsar, March 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, DAV College Amritsar organized a talk on “Practical Implications of Programming Languages in IT” on 9 March, 2019. This talk was organized under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Head Department Prof Vikram Sharma.  More than 90 students attended the interactive session.

 Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar gave floral welcome to the guest. Ms Jaspreet kaur Gandhi, Project Manager, Wipro Technologies, Canada was the key note speaker during the event. She is the member of technical team of wipro that visited various colleges for placement drives.

 Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of Department for organizing such initiatives for the betterment of students. Speaking on the occasion, he added that there is much need today to help our students learn various tips to crack the interview.

  Speaking on occasion, Jaspreet Kaur shared her experience about how to create and deploy dynamic websites using latest technologies and languages like Ajax, Web controller, Core, Java, Jdbase, Pearl etc. She discussed about client side and server side programming with practical demonstrations for the same. She further explained in detail about various career opportunities available for the students in this demanding IT field. She also gave beneficial tips and tricks to students to crack the interview and how to present their knowledge to impress the interviewer.

 Prof. Preeti Kamra, Prof. Sunny Thukral, Prof. Sanjeev Kapil, Prof. Kapil Goyal and Prof. Puneet Sharma and Prof. Naina Handa were also present during this event.
