Short videos Competition organized at DAV College

Amritsar, March 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Under the initiative taken by district officer Cum Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, a short videos competition was organized by the NSS Dept of DAV College, Amritsar.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar enlightened the students about Right to Vote. In his motivational talk, he invoked the students to make best use of their right.  He also congratulated the winners of the competition.

During the event Dr. Neerja Kalia Incharge NSS also congratulated the students and motivated all the students to cast their vote considering it as most important duty. Briefing about the event, she added that The NSS Volunteers and other students of the college showed overwhelming response by submitting more than 25 short videos. The videos covered various topics highlighting the importance of vote, Importance of getting yourself registered as voter, importance of casting vote, casting of votes by physically challenged people and how a vote shapes your and country’s future.

In this competition, Prof. Sania, Prof. Babusha Maingi and Prof. Vikram acted as judges and Vibha Sharma, Ankush Kundra and Abhishek were declared as winners of competition.
