KVPY Scholarship for Three DAV Public Students

Amritsar, April 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road have once again proved their mettle and made their school proud by qualifying the KVPY Exam. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science & Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the area of basic sciences

            The students of the school are eligible for the monthly fellowship of ` 5000/- to  7000/- per month , as well as admissions into institutes like IISC and IISER. The students are Bhavya Pahwa, Arush Sharma and Manaarth Saini.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone-A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students for their laudable performance and blessed them to keep up the good work. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school also applauded the efforts of the students for their diligent preparation. She said it was a matter of great pride to get a National scholarship.
