GNDU students placed in reputed Pharma industries

Amritsar, May 30 (Punjab Post Bureu) – The reputed Pharma companies Mankind Pharma and Nectar Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. selected seven M.Sc students of the Department of Microbiology of the University during Guru Nanak Dev University campus placement drive. These appointments will be done for the post of Microbiologist on the basis of written test and interview. These companies offered annual salary package up to Rs 3.35 lakhs. Due to the comprehensive teaching and research curriculum of the department, apart from these Pharmaceutical industries, several students of the department have also joined the research sector as Ph. D students in various premier Institutes and Universities both in India and abroad (USA, Canada, Austria, Australia, etc). Beside various previous students from the department are now heading industries and reputed research labs internationally.
