DAV Students Shines in International Olympiad of English Language

Amritsar, May 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road once again proved their mettle in English language proficiency by bringing laurels in International Olympiad of English Language 2018.

Saumya Khanna of Std XII and Kavya Bedi of Std II bagged State Rank I and were awarded Gold Medals, Naureen Kaur of Std V bagged State Rank II and was awarded Silver Medal, Zorawar Singh Gill of Std VIII bagged State Rank III and was awarded a Bronze Medal. All 4 State rankers were also given Pierre Cardin Pens as tokens of excellence.

            33 Students were selected out of 300 students participating from the school for State Level Round out of which these four scored outstanding ranks.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone A Dr. (Mrs) NeelamKamra expressed immense delight at the achievement of the children and applauded their efforts. School Manager Dr. Rajesh Kumar also sent his heartfelt blessings and exhorted the children to keep up the good work. Principal Dr. Neera Sharma motivated the students to keep working harder towards achieving greater heights in the future and blessed them to achieve success in life.
