Counselling for admission will start from today at GND Varsity

Amritsar, July 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Common Entrance Test (CET) of Guru Nanak Dev University for the admissions to in B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany, M.Sc. Chemistry (FYIC) (USHS), B.Tech.  (Computer Engineering), B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.), M.Sc. Human Genetics (FYIC) (USHS), B.Sc.(Medical Lab. Technology) (MLT), M.Sc. Physics (FYIC) (USHS), M.Sc. Zoology (FYIC) (USHS), M.Sc. Mathematics (FYIC) was conducted in a peaceful manner at various centres here today in which  candidates from different states were applicants . 

Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Coordinator for the CET appreciated the role of faculty members and other functionaries in conducting the test in a peaceful and orderly manner. The University Administration provided all necessary assistance to conduct the test in a smooth manner. Parents of candidates appreciated the efforts of the coordinator to provide all types of help in the smooth conduct of the test and also his supportive nature. 

Special camps were also put up by the coordinator to provide drinking water and other necessary facilities to parents/guardians of the candidates who took the test.

The results of Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 announced today and all those candidates who had appeared for the same can check their respective results at the official website of the university. Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Coordinator for the CET, said that the counselling for admissions to different courses had been scheduled for July 9 to 12. The venue for counselling has been fixed as Guru Nanak Bhawan Auditorium GNDU Amritsar. 

He advised the ccandidates should bring their Admit card, Admission form, original certificates and three recent passport photographs as mentioned in the prospectus. All the candidates claiming reservation must bring certificate of their reserve category as per format and instructions given in the University prospectus available at www.gnduadmissions.org. The selected candidates are required to deposit the fee through (Cash/Credit card/Debit Card/Internet Banking) and submit the receipt immediately at the counseling desk.

Dr. Bedi further said that the University had made elaborate arrangement for the same with seating and will also organise Special help desks to provide guidance to the candidates.
