Chandigarh, July 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Continuing the tradition of holding e-auction every month, PUDA and other Special Development Authorities viz. GMADA, Patiala Development Authority (PDA) Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) GLADA Amritsar Development Authority (ADA) & Bathinda Development Authority (BDA) would put up various properties for e-auction.
Divulging the details, a spokesperson of Housing & Urban Development Department revealed that e-auction would start at 9.00 AM on 1 August, 2019. While, e-auction for properties under jurisdiction of GMADA, GLADA, BDA, ADA and JDA would conclude on 13 August, 2019 and auction of properties under jurisdiction of PDA would conclude on 14 August, 2019.
He said the Authorities are giving an opportunity to those who are interested in purchasing properties of the nature of industrial, commercial or residential. Those looking for an industrial plot will have the chance to own the same near Chandigarh as Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) is offering IT industrial plots situated in its IT City project near the Mohali International Airport besides offering industrial plots situated in Rajpura.
“Apart from this, institutional properties such as two hotel sites located in IT City, SAS Nagar and one in Sector 32-A, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, a petrol pump site in New Chandigarh, a commercial chunk site of SAS Nagar and a school site & commercial chunk site both situated in New Urban Estate, Batala would be available for bidding in the e-auction.”, he added.
Smaller commercial establishments like SCOs, booths, SCFs, double storey shops, built-up booths, SCSs, workshop sites and residential plots have also been listed for bidding. He said that the sites & plots being offered in the e-auction are located in different cities across the State, so the bidders would have the choice to own the property of their interest as well as location. The spokesperson said the e-auction would be successful like the previous auction conducted in the month of July, in which the Authorities cumulatively had earned revenue amounting approximately to Rs. 72.00 crore.
