An open mic event “Mere Alfaz” organized at DAV College

Amritsar, August 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Media Club PG Department of Mass Communication and Video Production of  DAV College organized an open mic event “Mere Alfaz” at girls parking. Students from various departments participated in the Event. It is an initiative by the students to promote talent from the root level. This event will now be a regular activity that will be organized fortnightly. During the event, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar welcomed all the students and appreciated the efforts of media club for this initiative. He added that such event provides perfect platform to help students to find out their hidden talent and and it is providing them chance to know the beauty of words. Dr. Arif Nazir, Head, Department of Mass Communication and Video Production said that this event is an opportunity for the students to explore their hidden talent and carve out them for the future. The participants will get a platform for visualizing their latent qualities and succeed in life. He also explained that students participated in various events like Calling, posts, writers, singers, storytellers, musicians, standups, comedians that helped them to showcase their inner ability during the event. The main motive of the event would be to provide platform to students where they can show case their hidden talent. During the occasion Prof. Sania, Prof. Vani, Prof. Saundraya, Prof. Ferry, Prof. Roohi, Prof. Rajesh, Prof. Collin and Prof. Puneet were also present.
