‘Veer Naris’ of Amritsar and Tarn Taran Felicitated

Jalandhar, Sept. 22 Punjab Post Bureau) – The Panther Division of the army organised a Veer Nari meet to felicitate widows of martyred & disabled soldiers  from Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts at New Khasa Military Station on Saturday. Representatives of the civil administration and the police assured them that their grievances, pertaining to civil and legal issues, will be resolved at the earliest. The delegates also briefed them about their entitlements and the job and educational opportunities available to them. A medical camp was also organised on the occasion. Items like wheel chair, hearing aid, BP measuring machine, Glucometer, Walker etc were also distributed to needy veer nari, widows & disabled soldiers.
