Army Recruitment Rally at Khasa Military Station (Amritsar)

Jalandhar/ Amritsar, Oct 19 (Punjab Post Bueau) – Army Recruitment Rally is being held with effect from 12^th Oct 2019 at New Amritsar Military Station  Khasa.  A total 42368 candidates had registered for the rally.  This rally is being conducted for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk, Soldier Nursing Assistant and Sepoy Pharma category.  So far some candidates from Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts have been screened.  

 ​           During Recruitment Rally a candidate is screened for 1.6km Run, Tattoo, Drug Test,  9 Feet Ditch, Beam, Height, Weight and Chest by independent board of officer. Biometric impressions are taken for candidates to avoid any impersonation case.  

            Medical examination is being carried out for all candidates who have passed physical test.  Admit cards are being issued to all candidates who are medically fit for Common Entrance Exam to be held at Army Public School, Khasa on 24 Nov 2019.

            ​A Grievance cell has been established at entrance gate and at rally site for any kind of complaint by the candidate. A prompt solution is being given to candidates as per rules / regulations on recruitment. 

            ​Recruitment in Army is free of cost.  All candidates should be bewaring of Touts.  In fact they should help army by registering FIR against these Touts by sharing specific details of such individuals. ​Recruitment process in Army is fully automated and the same is carried out to enhance the speed, accuracy and transparency of the recruiting process. 

            ​Civil administration has provided good administrative support for the rally. Their effort is highly appreciated by the Army and as well as the candidates.
