Chandigarh, Oct 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab State Lotteries Department’s bumper schemes have proved a magic wand for many middle-class families, turning them crorepatis overnight. In this year, Punjab Lotteries Department’s Bumpers have changed the life of 10 persons, who had not even thought in their wildest dreams to become a crorepati in their life.
An official spokesperson of the Lotteries Department said that Punjab State Lotteries Department has catapulted the lives of 10 families with giving away of Rs.15.50 crore prizes in this year so far.
He revealed that the Punjab Government’s New Year Lohri Bumper-2019 draw had proved a magic wand for 30-year-old Ashok Kumar, serving as a constable in the Punjab Police, as he won the first prize of Rs 2 crore. The prize money changed the life of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Motian village in Hoshiarpur. He built a house and repaid his personal loans with the prize money. Dhruv Arora, resident of Amritsar, had won the second prize Rs. 1 crore of the Lohri Bumper.
