Punjab Govt declares local holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar Districts

Chandigarh, Nov 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Government today declared local holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar districts on November 9, 2019 in connection with the celebrations of the 550th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

            Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that all the offices of Punjab Government, Boards, Corporations and Educational Institutions in these districts would remain closed on the auspicious occasion. A notification has been issued by the Personnel Department, Punjab in this regard.
