Department of Lifelong Learning organized workshop

Amritsar, Nov 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A workshop was conducted by the Department of Lifelong Learning of Guru Nanak Dev University. Mr. Vinay Kumar Gupta, Deputy Sales Manager, Mr. Maninder Pal Singh, Senior Territory Manager of eminent company in tailoring, Usha International Limited. A large number of students enthusiastically participated in this workshop and interacted  with the representatives of the Company.

Prof. Saroj Arora, Director of  the  Department introduced the students about the aim and objective of the workshop and stressed upon  the need  for updating the domain knowledge of the students. She said that many such workshops will be conducted in the future for the benefit of the students. Mrs. Tejpal Kaur, Smt. Paramjeet Kaur, Smt. Meenakshi Sharma all teachers of the department were also present.

On this occasion, company representatives presented the advance  technologies in the area of  sewing machines  before  the students  and the staff to update their  knowledge. Several new models were also displayed and the working of each one of them was demonstrated.
