Amritsar, Nov 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Dr. Vibha Chopra. Physicist and Assistant Professor in DAV College brought laureals to the college as she has obtained a patent from government of India for her invention.
While felicitating, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated Dr Vibha Chopra on this occasion and said that science must work with the prime objective of upliftment of society.
Dr. Sameer Kalia while congratulating Dr. Vibha said that Department of Physics provides congenial environment of research for students and teachers. The state of art research facilities provided in the department have been recognized by various government agencies conferring college with ‘Potential of excellence’ by UGC and ‘Star college’ by department of Biotechnology, Government of India etc.
While briefing about the Project Dr. Vibha Chopra said that she was working in collaboration with scientists from RTM Nagpur University and built an automatic microcontroller based ice defrosting instrument. This device using refrigeration digital growth value and sensor structures using cloud computing helps in avoiding fogging at light signals in hilly areas and this invention focuses on use at high end technology for solving practical problems of general public.
Dr. Neeru Gupta, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Maninder Kaur, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Manpreet kaur, Dr. Narinder Arora, Prof Rajeev Arora, Dr. Neerja Kalia and Dr. Jagdish Kaur also congratulated Dr. Vibha for her achievement.
