Swachhta Pakhwada celebrated at DAV College

Amritsar, Dec 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NCC Naval Wing Cadets of DAV College did Plogging (Bending and picking up trash while jogging) activity as a part of Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations in pursuance of the directions received from Commodore Bal Rajesh Singh Commanding Officer 2 PB Naval NCC Unit Amritsar and Commander Mandeep Singh. The activity was organised under the worthy guidance of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar and the supervision of Sub. Lt. Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Associate NCC Officer. Addressing the NCC cadets, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar motivated and appealed the cadets to adopt practices like plogging in their daily lives to stay fit and ensure cleanliness in their surroundings. He also appreciated the endeavours made by 2 PB Naval NCC Unit in the grooming of young cadets and making them good citizens. About 40 SD/SW Cadets participated in the activity with full zeal. Ranbir Singh, Petty Officer from 2 PB Naval NCC Unit was also present during the activity.
