Play ‘Ishq Hai’ performed at Guru Nanak Dev University

Amritsar, Jan 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Drama Club of Guru Nanak Dev University organized ‘Ishq Hai’ a play by eminent play writer Ajmer Aulakh. This play performed at Khalsa Hertiage Centre in the natural ambiance of the Guru Nanak Dev University. A large number of students and faculty participated.

            Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu presided over. Prof Geeta Hundal, Incharge, Student Activities Club; Dr. Sunil Sharma, Incharge, Drama Club; Dr. Tejwant Singh Kang, Incharge, Go Green Club, Dr. Amandeep Singh, Incharge Campus Sports, Dr. J.S. Bilga, Constultant Horticulture; Dr. Jatinder Kaur, Dr. Sahlini, Dr. Manjinder Kaur, Mr. Parveen Puri, Director Public Relations; Supnandan Kaur, PCS and Harjot Singh were present on this occasion.

            Mr. Emanual Singh, Director of the play said that this play was based on social issue to get your rights at your own fight. In the play there were examples of folk tales of legendry lovers.
