Sri Guru Ram Das University organized one day CME on Pediatric Hematology – 2020

Amritsar, March 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences Sri Amritsar conducted one day CME on Pediatric Hematology – 2020. The conference was graced by the presence of Dr. Narinder Singh former HOD and founder of Pediatric Department Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital Vallahi Amritsar.

              Dr. Narinder Singh said that NICU, PICU and other facilities at the Institutes are top-notch and are best in Punjab. Dr. Anupum Sachdeva from Sir Gangaram Hospital New Delhi talked about ‘Diagnosis of Hemophillia and other Bleeding Disorders’. Dr. Amrita Trehan Incharge Hematology Unit PGI Chandigarh discussed ‘Blood Transfusion in Thalassemia Major’. Dr. Shurti Kakkar Hematology Incharge DMC Ludhiana expressed his views on ‘Iron overloaded and Chelation and Emergencies in Pediatric Oncology’. Dr. Srinivasan Piryamdeliver his lecture on ‘Clinical Diagnosis and Laboratory investigations in Thalassemia’.
