4000 litres biggest fire tender pressed into service for Sanitization at Jawaharpur

S.A.S Nagar, April 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – “The District Administration is fully apprised of situation unfolding in

the district and is well equipped to handle it.” Disclosing this here today, the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan said that the biggest fire tender of Punjab having the capacity of 4000 litres has been pressed into service for Sanitization at Jawaharpur village. Besides these, 2 more are ready if the need arises. He also said that the emphasis of the District Administration is on contact tracing as well as containment in order to combat corona virus disease.

              It is worth mentioning that those 7 positive cases which surfaced today at village Jawaharpur, were sampled for being the contacts of the another positive case at the GMCH-32.
