Amritsar, Oct. 9 (Manjit Kaur)- The atmosphere of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public school, G. T. Road, was engulfed in the religious aura on the occasion of the celebration of birth anniversary of 4th Guru of Sikhs – Sri Guru Ram Das Ji. The rendition of shabads by the school team filled the atmosphere with mystic aura. An unflinching faith in guru was showcased through poems, speeches and sakhis portraying the life history of guru. Speaking on the occasion, Member Incharge S. Harminder Singh said that the students should always stay attached to their roots and the tenets of sikhism taught in the school which will pave way towards their better future. Principal Dr. Dharamveer Singh apprised the students about the values of brotherhood and unity propagated by Guru ram Dass Ji. S. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society advised everyone to fllow the footsteps of Sr.i Guru Ram Das Ji. The celebration was not only to make everyone aware of the Sikhism and its innate values but also had a humbling effect on everyone present. The occasion was valedicted by servince Guru Ka Langar to one and all.
