Army Commander Western Command visits Amritsar      

Amritsar, May 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Lieutenant General RP Singh Army Commander Western Command visited

the operational areas of Amritsar, Tibri and DBN military stations on Friday.  Vajra Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Sanjeev Sharma also accompanied the Army Commander during the visit.

            He also visited Kasowal and specially commended the BRO personnel for ensuring connection across Ravi River for villagers and farmers before the onset of monsoon.

            Army Commander also reviewed Covid -19 preparation at Military hospitals of Amritsar and Tibri. He expressed satisfaction on preparation and Civil-Military coordination for dealing with the pandemic and commended all frontline warriors for strengthening India’s fight against Corona.
