4311 students to get smart phones in Kapurthala

Will facilitate students in a great manner in covid times for online studies

Kapurthala, August 11(Punjab Post Bureau) – Under the “connect captain ” , Punjab Government would provide smart phones to 4311 students of 12th class in the district kapurthala as the stage is all set for tomorrow’s functions to be held across the district..

                Deputy Commissioner Deepti Uppal said that the district administration has scrutinized the 4311 eligible students from 12th class which includes 2236 boys and 2075 girls from Government schools. She said that the it will not only made the students to become capable to compete in modern times but also during the covid times it will be more valuable product for them as the online study remains the only way for students.

                 In first phase to start the distribution campaign, 100 smart phones to be given to students, 25 each in the district. She said that the functions to be held at DAC kapurthala, Market committee office sultanpur lodhi, SDM office  Bholath and Ramgaria college Phahwara .

               She also made it clear that during the distribution functions , health department protocol to be strictly followed .
