Amritsar, August 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – One Day International Workshop on “Research Process and Outcomes: How to Publish in Reputed Journals” was organised by University Business School of the Guru Nanak Dev University. Dr. Amrik Sohal, Professor and Dr. Glen Croy, Associate Professor from Monash Business School, Monash University, Australia were the resource persons for the workshop.
Dr. Renu Bhardwaj, Director Research welcomed the guest speakers and apprised them of the salient achievements of Guru Nanak Dev University in all spheres. She said that the university has been making efforts to train the faculty cope up with the challenges posed by COVID regarding teaching and research. The workshop was another important effort in the same direction. The workshop content focused on building the research questions, the role of theory, model building and hypothesis testing. It also dwelled on selecting the right and high quality journals to publish.
Professor Ingrid Nielson, Head, Department of Management, Monash Business School, Monash University, Australia and Professor Chris Hick, New Castle University Business School, UK was also among the resource panel for the workshop. Dr. Pavleen Soni and Dr. Gurpreet Randhawa, organisers of the workshop thanked the resource persons for their valuable presentation of the topic. More than 200 researchers, both from India and abroad actively participated in the workshop.
